Initially Chinmaya Study Group was formed in 1982 and became an affiliate of CM Vancouver in 1998 as “Chinmaya Mission Calgary”. In 2014 CMCC was registered as Non-Profit Organization in Alberta followed by central CRA Charity approval. The year 2016 was significant milestone when we purchased our own ashram and Guruji named it “Chinmaya Giridhar” in significance to Rockies close by.
